CNC grinding machines are an important part of Birmingham UK based Davies Precision Ltd's engineering inventory and have Myford CNC cylindrical grinding machines capable of grinding up to a 350m/m length between centres, with a maximum ground diameter of 150m/m. The CNC grinding machines are used mainly for volume production work. They are equipped with 3 jaw and magnetic chucks and lateral position flagging.

As well as the fully serviced CNC grinding machine, Davies Precision Ltd also have a Jones & Shipman Format 15 CNC Universal Grinder capable of grinding up to a maximum length of 700 m/m diameter and 250m/m diameter, this machine has one internal and two external grinding wheels and is used mainly for multi diameter work. It is also equipped with a 3 jaw chuck collet and magnetic chuck.
